Chinese Cricket Club Launches In London Blackfriars
Chinese Cricket Club fuses traditional techniques and the finest ingredients to present a contemporary take on Chinese classics.
Influenced by the best flavours across China, Chinese Cricket Club’s unique and exotic menu celebrates Chinese cuisine through traditional techniques and even has a takeaway service for guests wanting to enjoy the culinary delights from the comfort of their own homes.
The newly launched restaurant boasts a rich and diverse menu with dishes such as its signature Smoked Peking Duck served with Cucumber, Spring Onion, Hoisin Sauce, Pineapple, and Pancakes, Tiger Chilli Crispy Beef, Fresh, Homemade Dim Sums as well as Wok Fried Beef Fillet with Black Pepper Sauce, Rice and Noodles.
Desserts include Matcha Tiramisu, Rose-Raspberry Delight and Chinese Cricket Club’s signature Mandarin Fortune.
The restaurant has speciality dishes named in honour of the fictional story of the captain of the Shanghai XI cricket team, Feng, who travelled to England in 1857 with his bride Xiu. The couple arrived at Blackfriars Docks and travelled to Limehouse, where Xiu opened the city’s first authentic Chinese restaurant.
Their tradition is carried on by the warm atmosphere of Chinese Cricket Club and its extensive menu of handcrafted dim sum and specialty dishes.
Chinese Cricket Club boasts an elegant and sophisticated setting, leaving an imprint in the minds of guests who dine there with its simple yet beautiful plating of dishes.
Chinese Cricket Club is one of three F&B outlets opened within Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars.
The restaurant is open from 12-2.30pm and 5.30-10.30pm every day and has a semi-private dining room which accommodates up to 12 people, perfect for family and friends gatherings.
