We’ve taken the faff out of gravy-making with our new organic gravy. Slow-cooked by hand in small batches, using only the finest organic ingredients including organic stock, herbs and vegetables. The result is a glossy, flavoursome gravy perfect to accompany a traditional Christmas Turkey or delicious roasting joint.

Reared for Coombe Farm Organic at Sharpham Park in Somerset, the deer live a wild life contributing to the maintenance of the organic, ancient parkland they roam, Culled only when the deer reach maturity, our butchers hang them for one week to further develop the tender texture and delicate gamey flavour of the meat.
Organic Turkey – £18.89 per kg
We only sell Bronze turkeys, an old-fashioned breed that provides a carcass with fantastic flavour and even coverage of meat, offering a delicious eating experience. Reared in small groups with freedom to road, the turkeys eat a natural diet supplemented by the grass they graze. The flavour of the bird is made even better by slow growth to maturity. This takes up to 24 weeks and results in meat that’s reliably juicy and tasty, with tender texture and just the right amount of fat. Once slaughtered, all the turkeys are hung for at least 10 days. This process allows some moisture to evaporate (so you’ll see no shrinkage in the oven) and the muscles to relax (so the meat is soft and flavoursome). Hanging, as well as the slow growth of the birds, means cooking times will be a bit shorter than you might expect for intensively reared birds. At 180˚C, plan for 20 to 30 minutes cooking per kilo.

Organic Beef Rib On The Bone – Delivered frozen, £45.00 per kg
Reared for up to two years, our organic grass-fed beef has sumptuous texture and is rich in impressive marbling. It is dry-aged for at least 21 days to deliver pure, distinctive flavour every time. This cut is also known as Forerib of beef or Côte de Boeuf. Combining immense table presence with distinctive character and robust flavour, beef rib on the bone are simple to cook and will reward you with a memorable meal.

Coombe Farm Organic rears pigs that are a cross of traditional, native breeds. They live in sociable family groups and grow slowly to ensure their meat has great flavour and texture, balanced by just the right amount of fat. All of their pork is hung for a week before butchery. That way you can always rely on tender and succulent results. The Organic pigs in blankets are made with gluten free chipolatas, wrapped in streaky bacon and packed in 6’s ready for your Christmas table. Each ‘Pig’ is made using a full rasher of bacon, so only 1 or 2 will be required per person.
